It's Dixieland at the BRMAA

The music of New Orleans has survived and florished for more than a century and will be heard on the Front Porch of the Old Fannin County Courthouse in Blue Ridge. Saturday evening, August 5th.starting at 6:30, the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association presents The Old Flint River Dixieland Band. The band is a part of the U.S. Army Ground Forces Band. These musicians have brought delight

to audiences across the nation. Current members are: MSG John Jacobs, snare drumSFC Kenny Hall, trumpetSFC John Verner, banjoSFC David Winterhalter, clarinetSSG Bill Knight, tuba and SGT Marion Keehn, trombone.
