North Enotah Domestic Violence
Training series offered to the community

The North Enotah Domestic Violence Task Force and the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) are collaborating to offer a series of training to the community. The first in the series will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 12.30pm, and will be at the Mountain Regional Library in Young Harris. It will last one-hour. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch; drinks and desert will be provided.

This first training will focus on Investigative and Prosecution Needs in a Sexual Assault Case. Local service providers will facilitate the program and will address what each agency needs from the rest of the community and other service providers in order to increase the effectiveness of an investigation which will assist in successful prosecution.

Additional trainings in the series include:

May 18 - Caring for the Family's Needs

June 15 - Caring for the Victim's Needs

July 20 - Unique Issues: Working with Victims Who Never Report and Working with the College Population

For further information on this series of training opportunities or to sign-up to attend, please call Tina at 706-8351637. Community members are encouraged to attend!
