Child abuse prevention month The Enotah Child Advocacy Center (CAC) staff and volunteers promote child abuse prevention by offering educational programs to schools, churches, civic organizations, and other agencies regarding child abuse issues. Services available to child victims of abuse through the Enotah CAC include forensic interviewing, crisis intervention, therapy, support groups, and legal advocacy. During the month of April, the Enotah CAC will be sponsoring a workshop titled, "Child Abuse Prevention: A Shared Responsibility." Further details will be available soon. Union County Family Connections, Towns County Family Connections, and S.A.F.E. will team up with the Enotah CAC to host the second annual People2People. This event, especially designed for teens, will be held on Saturday, April 29. Games, activities, door prizes, and a special guest will all be part of the fun. For information on either event, please call Tina at 706-835-1637. |
