ARCO Chamber Orchestra

The internationally acclaimed ARCO Chamber Orchestra will perform at Toccoa Falls College Auditorium in Epworth, Saturday night April 22 at 7 p.m. This will be the first concert of the Spring and Summer Series of the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association.

The 15-member orchestra was founded in Moscow and is now based at the University of Georgia School of Music. The artistic director, conductor and violonist, Levon Ambartsumian has

performed with his orchestra inconcert halls in Germany, France, Korea, Italy and Romania. The orchestra also played in Carnagie Hall for an enthusiatic audiance. Maistro Ambartsumian has won many international music awards and became the Franklin Professor of Violin at UG in 1995.
