April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and a time to increase the community's commitment to putting an end to such violence against women, children and men. Utilizing the symbolism of jeans to bring attention to sexual assault, employees of the participating businesses and agencies let others know that such crimes will not be tolerated in our community.

If you or someone you love has been a victim of sexual assault or rape, please seek medical attention as soon as possible for any internal injuries. Call a friend, family member or S.A.F.E. for support. Remember, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! S.A.F.E. advocates are available 24 hours at 706/379.3000 V/TTY. All services are free and confidential.
